Reviews and Ratings
The hotel needs a refurbishment as the rooms are tiny, grubby, and not clean. However, it is convenient for charging your phone. The shared toilets are filthy and the whole place lacks maintenance. You can hear everything from the room above, and the curtains and carpet are stained. On the positive side, it is accessible for charging your phone.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was clean but a bit small and dark due to overgrown bushes outside. The staff worked hard to maintain cleanliness. The location was nice with friendly bar staff but needed a good clean. The dining experience was standard with limited options. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel had a stunning quiet and comfortable atmosphere, but the constant fan noise and noises from the ceiling in the corridor were a downside. The location was within walking distance to the village and featured good tea and coffee shops, but the uncleanliness might put me off returning. The dining experience was limited to only basic food options, and the snacks seemed to be the only available option.
The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms were nice and cozy but there was a mix-up with my room assignment. It was close to a noisy event happening until late hours. Although breakfast was a bit of a hassle, the evening meal made up for it.
The hotel offers large, roomy, comfortable, and clean rooms despite being up countless flights of stairs. The service is efficient, with room service, dry cleaning, laundry, and pet amenities available. However, the location, though great looking, is being allowed to fall into declining conditions that affect the overall experience, and the dining options are quite disappointing with limited choices and overcooked dishes.
The hotel is situated near the quaint little village of Market Bosworth, set in beautifully well-kept grounds, and close to Market Bosworth itself. The rooms, although clean, had a small double bed above an air con unit that disturbed my sleep and felt like a basement flat with little natural light and a musty smell despite efforts to ventilate. The location is fantastic, but can be understaffed at times. The dining experience was a bit disappointing due to limited options, and the price was a little on the expensive side for what was offered.
I found the hotel to be a great value break with a pleasant carvery meal in the evening and a good buffet breakfast. The setting in lovely grounds was a definite plus. However, my room overlooked a low-level roof with no view at all, and it was basic, small, and had a stale smoke smell with outdated decor and marks on the walls.
My stay at the hotel had some positives and negatives. The rooms were decent in size but had various flaws, including mould in the bathroom, rusty plug holes, and non-functional bedside lamps. The Jacuzzi was only partially working. The overall decor seemed tired and past its best. However, the room was clean and not too bad, though the furniture was dated, and there were no brochures about the hotel's amenities.
